The "Finder" function in default folder X does not display the windows actually visible on the screen
So if Finder is hidden, or the window you are looking for is in another desktop space, they will appear in the Finder Windows menu in default folder X, but when you move the mouse on the screen, they will not automatically highlight
If you want it to display all windows, even if they are in other spaces or Finder is hidden, please follow these steps: hold down the Option key and select Settings from the default folder X menu in the menu bar
In the "Additional Settings" table that appears, enable "Finder-click displays windows from all spaces", and then click OK
Additionally, please note that the Finder-click feature does not support smart folders (including Recent Files and All My Files) or search results
These windows do not have a "location" - the files are scattered in different folders and are only grouped together through search results
So when you click on that window, default folder X has no "place to go"
It does not display that those windows are "clickable", because logically, you cannot do anything with them
